Jac Dennington is an executive coach and strategic sustainability consultant with over 35 years’ experience in senior leadership across environmental, public sector, non-profit, and higher education organisations.

She works with leaders who want to create positive outcomes for nature, people, and business but face barriers such as workload, entrenched systems, and competing priorities. Jac helps clear space for what matters, enabling strategic change grounded in strong values, innovation, healthy relationships, and wellbeing.

Experience

Executive Coaching and leader development

Jac has coached and mentored professionals across sectors for over 35 years, supporting significant career advancement, personal growth, and organisational performance. She has contributed to the design and delivery of leadership development programmes.  She is committed to excellence through regular coaching supervision and ongoing professional development in both coaching and sustainability.

Senior Leadership and Strategy

Jac has held senior and executive roles internationally across government, private sector, and higher education. She managed HR and IT functions, led major strategic portfolios, and established project and programme management offices for organisational change. Jac designed frameworks for strategy development and delivery for large organisations, owned SME consultancies, advised charities, and served as CIO at the National Museum of Australia.

Environmental Sustainability

Currently a trustee on the board of Cheshire Wildlife Trust, Jac previously spent a decade as an IT executive and strategist for the Australian Department of Environment. She initiated Australia’s first whole-of-government ICT Sustainability Plan and sustainable computing legislation, chaired cross-government Green IT groups, and assessed public environmental grant proposals.

Nature-Based and Outdoor Coaching

Jac uses nature as a powerful coaching environment to support personal development, wellbeing, and growth for individuals and teams.

Mentoring Programs

For five years, Jac mentored professionals through the University of Manchester’s Manchester Gold programme, supporting working relationships, career advancement, leadership and project management qualifications and skills. She also mentored professionals across many other diverse organisations in the UK and internationally.

Mindfulness and Wellbeing

Jac has delivered extensive training in mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and breathwork in corporate and private settings, including programmes for professionals and teacher trainees.
